Enrolling to vote lets you participate fully in our democracy, and give you an important role in helping to decide the future of our nation.
all Australian citizens aged 18 years or over are required by law to enrol to vote and to keep their enrolment details up to date. You can also enrol if you are 16 or 17 years of age, to make sure that you are eligible to vote from the day that you turn 18.
