Annual Tour de Fisher
Each year I jump on the pushbike and cycle across Fisher, hosting Listening Posts in communities of every shape and size. It’s one of my favourite weeks of the year, because nothing beats getting out on the road, meeting locals face to face and hearing directly about the issues that matter most to you.
Fisher covers almost 1200 square kilometres, stretching from the Hinterland to our world-class beaches, and every part of it has its own character, stunning natural landscapes, tight-knit villages, thriving business hubs and long-standing community groups. But the greatest asset of our electorate has always been its people. Tour de Fisher is about celebrating that.
Across the week, I’ll be stopping in dozens of neighbourhoods to talk about everything from cost of living and local infrastructure to community safety, small business, health services and our beautiful environment. Whether you’ve lived here for decades or you’ve just moved in, your ideas and experiences help guide the work I do in Canberra.
If you’re able to join me at a Listening Post, I’d love to hear from you. Bring your questions, raise an issue, sign a petition or simply stop by for a chat. This is your chance to help shape the future of our region and make sure your voice is front and centre.
Full details, times and locations are available below. Please remember that, because I’m cycling between stops, start times may shift slightly with weather, traffic and accessibility, so keep an eye on my social media for the latest updates.
I look forward to seeing you on the Tour and hearing how I can better serve you as your Federal Member for Fisher.
