On January 26, Australians reflect on the Australian story, pay respect to those who have gone before, and celebrate all that makes Australia the Great South Land.
But lately, activists and the big end of town have sought to erode Australians’ pride in their country, their flag, and their story. Some have even gone as far as to cease celebrating Australia Day altogether.
Enough is enough! I’m inviting anyone and everyone who is PROUD to be an Australian to Become an Australian Flagbearer.
It’s super simple – you just need to sign, show and share:
- Sign the petition below to call on Government and Big Business at every level to support Australia Day.
You’ll receive a collection of Digital Badges to use in your email signature, social media and profile pictures. - Show your support by using the badge and sharing it online, and by getting your friends, family and colleagues involved. The more the merrier!
- Share with me how you’re celebrating Australia Day – send me photos, tag me in your posts, and let me know how YOU bear the Australian Flag on and beyond January 26.
Want an Australian Flag?
I am proud of Australia’s flag, and all that it represents.
For that reason, I am delighted to be able to provide the Australian National Flag, as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flags to Fisher community organisations, clubs, schools, ex-service groups, exchange students, aid workers, and veterans.
Please be aware that numbers are strictly limited and eligibility requirements must be met. If the office has exhausted its flag budget for the year, you are more than welcome to re-apply in the next financial year.
