Applications Open: Fisher Youth Advisory Council

Young people deserve a genuine voice in the decisions that shape their future.

The Fisher Youth Advisory Council is a new initiative for locals aged 18–25 who want to share ideas, raise the issues that matter to their generation, and help shape conversations about the future of our region.

Council members will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, connect with other community-minded young people, gain insight into the work of a Federal MP and the Australian Parliament, and provide direct feedback on local and national issues.

Meetings will be held approximately every three months, with additional opportunities to engage throughout the year.

If you’re passionate about making the Sunshine Coast an even better place to live, work and build your future, I encourage you to apply.

Applications close 31 August.
