Federal Member for Fisher, Andrew Wallace MP, has announced that tickets to the Eighth Annual Fisher Community Awards Gala Dinner are now on sale, with nominations for award categories closing this Sunday, 17 August.
This year’s Awards will be bigger than ever, with winners to be announced at a formal Gala Dinner on Friday 19 September 2025 at the Sunshine Coast Function Centre, Caloundra.
Mr Wallace said the evening will be a chance to honour the people and groups who make Fisher a great place to live, work and play.
“The Fisher Community Awards have become the premier way we recognise the quiet achievers, community groups, businesses and volunteers who go above and beyond in our electorate,” Mr Wallace said.
“This is an event that should not be missed. I encourage everyone to attend and help celebrate all those who give their time and effort to make Fisher the best place to learn, earn and retire.”
This is the final chance to nominate a member of the Fisher community and join in celebrating their contributions at Mr Wallace’s Night of Nights. With many past awardees and finalists, the Awards span education, sport, environment, business and community service and this year will feature two new sporting categories*.

“The heart of the Sunshine Coast is its people. The Fisher Awards are about shining a light on those who give without asking for recognition, but who make our community stronger every single day,” Mr Wallace concluded.
