I would like to extend my warmest wishes for a happy Easter to all those celebrating this coming weekend.
For Christians worldwide, Easter marks the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Christ’s resurrection offers a profound sense of hope and encouragement in these challenging times. It is the message of a God who loved the world so deeply that He sent His Son to die for us, granting us the gift of eternal life.
I would also like to express my gratitude to those who will be working through the weekend, including emergency services, nurses, police and ADF personnel. These dedicated individuals sacrifice their time to serve others, embodying the selflessness that the Easter message calls us to.
Good Friday serves as a day of reflection, and by Sunday, it becomes a celebration of life, with words that have resonated across generations: “He is Risen”.
I wish all those celebrating a blessed and joyful Easter. May it be filled with special moments shared with family and loved ones.
